EXTENDED CARE
Stepping Stone Early Learning Academy provides extended childcare for students
who may require these services. The before-care program runs from 6:30 a.m. -
9:00 a.m. and our after-care program runs from 2 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.  Both programs are
suited to accommodate individual needs.  Registration into these programs is
required and fees are based on the number of hours required per day.

BEFORE-CARE
Children who arrive by 8:30 am. may bring in a nutritious, cold breakfast.  Children
arriving after 8:30 a.m should have a healthy breakfast before coming to school.
Both the before and after-care program are run by our staff of qualified teachers.
Children enrolled in the before-care program will have the opportunity to work
quietly in several different centers that would be available to them.  Reading,
coloring, lacing, play-doh, and building blocks are just a few of the morning
activities that the children would participate in.  Computer time will also be
available to our before-care students.

AFTER-CARE
Our after-care program begins at 2:00 p.m.  Classroom teachers will bring their
extended care students to the appropriate classroom for after-care where our fun
and dedicated after-care staff will be there to greet them.  The liberal afternoon
schedule offers children the structure and boundaries they require, yet allows them
the freedom to explore at their leisure.  Storytime, sensory centers, music, and
outdoor play make up a large part of the after-care program.  Computer time is also
available to all our after-care students.  Children staying on beyond 3:00 p.m. will
need to provide a healthy afternoon snack and disposable drink.

AS-NEEDED CARE
As an added benefit to our families who do not require extended care on a regular
basis, Stepping Stone offers
as-needed childcare at a rate of $10 an hour.   This
applies to currently enrolled students and their siblings who require occasional
before or after-care services.
Stepping Stone also offers school holiday care on an
as needed basis for those students who attend public Kingergarten and/or 1st
grade.
Please notify the Director when services are needed.
